  • Physiurgical Massage
Physiurgical massage - also known as Swedish massage - is an in-depth massage where you get in depth with the body's muscles, tendons, joints, connective tissue etc. As a physiorgical masseuse, it requires a great deal of knowledge of the body's anatomy and physiology. This is what, in contrast to other forms of massage, is the starting point of the entire treatment. Physiurgical massage improves muscle tone and increases flexibility and tissue elasticity. The positive benefit is that the circulation is stimulated, the immune system is activated and the whole body is relaxed. The massage is carried out in collaboration with the individual client, depending on how deep the massage should be and what the purpose should be, whether it is pain relief, injury prevention or loosening of muscles.
  • Sports massage
Sports massage is very similar to physical massage, but here it is combined with many other techniques such as cupping, Stretch Massage Therapy/stretching massage, kinesio tape etc. It is extremely effective in preventing or treating injuries to muscles or tendons. It is used very differently, but there are some characteristics. Either immediately before a competition or match as a stimulant for the muscles, so that you are well warmed up and thus reduce the risk of injury. This is often combined with kinesio tape. After a competition or match, a more relaxing massage combined with stretching is used. This causes the muscles to relax and promotes recovery. It is also used as maintenance or prevention. Here, the focus is particularly on the muscles that are most stressed within the sport in question and works to avoid potential injuries. But especially within injury treatment, Sports Massage is effective. Here, with proper treatment, the healing period can be promoted and thereby also prevent the damage from occurring again. In this case, however, it will always be in combination with exercises and the like – massage alone cannot do the job. Both training, exercises etc. come into play in connection with injuries. Injury treatment is not just for athletes. A sprained ankle is treated in the same way regardless of whether it occurred in a football match or while walking the dog.
  • Wellness massage
This form of massage is particularly effective against stress symptoms. Here you work with long, gentle strokes that make the body relax. It releases stress and tension that it has built up over a period of time. Massage of the hands, face and scalp gives a fantastic feeling of calm and relaxation. With regular treatments, it can have an even better effect and can provide better night's sleep, more peace in everyday life and a general feeling of well-being. I recommend that if you want the full treatment including face and scalp, you should order 90 minutes to get the right effect of the treatment.
  • Acupuncture
Acupuncture is mainly used to treat pain conditions in muscles and joints as well as tension headaches and migraines. Can also be used against general pain and nausea. It is done by inserting thin needles into the muscles. Here, the nerves are stimulated. The effect of this is a local increase in blood flow and secretion of pain-relieving hormones. During the treatment, the hormone endorphin is released. Known as the body's own morphine. It can be pain-relieving and sedative, but does not have the negative effects that morphine can have.
  • 5-point ear acupuncture (also known as Nada)
The method consists of 5 small needles in each ear, and can be combined with a few extra needles in the face or scalp. The needles must sit for 45 min. Can be supplemented with magnetic balls, which are placed after the treatment and can stay for up to 7 days. A very effective form of treatment against stress, anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, thoughts and much more. Can be used as an independent treatment, but can also be combined to great advantage with my other forms of treatment.
  • Muscular Reflexology
Muscular Reflexology, also called reflexology, is a method in which, without the use of oils, but using different techniques, hands and fingers are used to create pressure on different points on the feet. I use muscular reflexology, which means I find the points on the feet that relate to the muscles and areas of the body that need to be treated. It is particularly effective when combined with acupuncture or cupping for injuries. While the needles or cups are on the injury site, I can still work the muscles in the area of injury by working the related points on and under the feet.
  • Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a form of treatment where special techniques are used to loosen the connective tissue around the muscles. It improves the circulation of blood, oxygen and lymph in the muscles. Myo is Greek and means Muscle and Fascia is Latin for band or sheath – i.e. connective tissue or muscular membrane By using this treatment, the muscles are helped to relax and thus faster pain relief.
  • SMT – Stretch Massage Therapy – also known as stretch massage
Stretch massage is a deep massage that is performed on a fully or partially stretched muscle or a stretching muscle. When the muscle is stretched and lengthened, it automatically becomes softer. This results in a faster effect of the treatment and an increase in blood flow. We work both with the fiber direction in the muscle, but also across to achieve the greatest effect of the treatment. The effect can be pain relief and combating inflammation and accumulations.
  • Cupping
Cupping is a form of treatment where a hollow object is placed on the skin and a negative pressure is created, whereby the object sticks to the skin. I use both stationary cupping, where several hard plastic cups are distributed over the area to be treated. And then I use cupping massage or moving cupping. Where I create a negative pressure with a silicone cup and then move the cup around. Cupping is very effective in cleaning the connective tissue of waste substances. Therefore, it often gives a red, sometimes almost purple skin afterwards. It is a very good supplement to finish after massaging an area, as it lifts up, creates a really good blood flow and increases the cleansing of waste products.
  • Gua Sha
Gua Sha is a Chinese form of treatment where you repeatedly scrape an oiled area with a tool. You scrape in one direction and repeat it many times. Gua means to scratch and Sha means red spots/redness. When an area is treated with Gua Sha, it creates a vacuum which causes waste materials etc. to be drawn out to the skin from the deeper tissue. This creates the red almost dark purple streaks after the treatment. The darker it is, the more waste materials have accumulated. And it often shows where the problems are and where you need to spend extra time on the treatment. The red streaks/spots often disappear after a few days.
  • Functional Neurology
Functional Neurology works with the parts of the brain that control the unconscious movements in the body. The cerebellum controls posture, balance and coordination. The brainstem has a major influence on breathing, which is hugely important for the entire body's muscular system. With simple tests, I can see which areas of the cerebellum need training and thus do simple exercises that train that part. And thus I can strengthen the ability to coordinate and balance, which is both important for athletes, but also especially for the elderly, where the balance is not quite what it once was. With exercises for the brainstem - these will mainly be breathing exercises - you can counteract a great many things, but especially tension headaches, neck tension etc.
  • Kinesio taping
Kinesio tape can be used both in connection with injuries, injury prevention, but is also very useful for fluid accumulations, as it can have a draining effect if applied correctly. The tape can improve blood flow and thus optimize healing, reduce muscle tension and reduce pain. It supports correct loading of joints and can activate and relieve central muscle functions, so that you reduce the risk of injuries, and thus also optimize your physical performance in the long term.
  • Massage for pregnant women
The pregnant body is strained in many ways, and this only increases during pregnancy. Pregnancy massage will often not be in-depth, but a more wellness-based massage. Where the body relaxes and the muscles loosen. Typically, tension occurs in the neck and shoulders as well as in the lower back. But the whole body is stressed more and more. There may be zones or areas on the body that are not appropriate to massage at different stages of pregnancy. But most people can benefit from loosening up – and the payoff can be a body that is more and better prepared for the physical challenge that birth can be. This can also include a cupping massage of the lower back. Which can be an advantage for the father to learn, as it can be a good supplement during labor and labor.
  • Infant massage
Infant massage soothes the baby and helps the child to relax, strengthens the baby's muscular coordination and flexibility. I teach the parents how they can use simple techniques, which can both help if the intestinal system is teasing or the little one has difficulty finding peace. • Massage for Cancer Patients
Studies show that cancer patients feel a positive effect from massage. When you go through a cancer course, there are many side effects such as stress, depression, fatigue and pain, all of which are side effects that massage can have a reducing effect on. I always tailor my treatments to the individual. Whether they are in radiotherapy, chemotherapy or something else. For me, it means a lot that the treatment takes place in collaboration. And in terms of where in the cancer treatment process you are. As a supplement to the treatment, 5-point acupuncture can be recommended, as it also has a recognized effect on the body's reactions – both physically and psychologically. It is important that before a treatment you consult your doctor or where you go for treatment, whether they recommend massage. • Chair massage
Chair massage is a form of acupressure. A treatment takes approx. 20 minutes The treatment takes place without oil and on the outside of the clothing. Is good for shoulder and neck tension. Relieves tense muscles in the lower back, back, shoulders, neck and arms. Is especially a good feature for a bachelor party, a company event or a day of pampering, as it can take place in very little space. As the treatment takes place without clothing, several people can sit in the room at the same time. For special events, contact the Clinic for prices. Everything is put together according to your wishes.
  • Posture and Movement Analysis
Movement analysis is a path towards creating a deeper understanding of the body's movements – which joints are involved, which muscles are involved and which movement they are doing – stretching, bending, rotating and the like. In this way, I can better work towards an effective treatment if there are certain movements that are limited or cause pain. Attitude analysis is a supplement to movement analysis. This shows imbalances in the body, biases and the like and provides a more holistic treatment rather than symptom treatment. For example Can pain in the hip come from a crooked foot position.
  • Function test
The function test is used in case of reduced function - often on the basis of posture and movement analysis. The reduced function is assessed and used, for example, for comparison later if the function has improved after the treatment. For example, if you have problems with your arm, you can easily bend and stretch it, but if you are stressed, it cannot bend as much. Or you get pain when straining in general. In addition to the treatment, I also do exercises that promote function.
